The Geographic Insight solution addresses geographically oriented publications on the web such as travel guides, destination brochures, geography related educational sites, etc. In other words any web content that would benefit from use of a map.

A traditional publication is organized around narrative content and supplemented by maps, photography, etc. The simple idea behind Geographic Insight is to reverse that organization.

The Geographic Insight solution is to organize all content around geographic objects such as places, routes, areas, etc. and access this content through map interfaces. A publication thus becomes a kind of "Geographic Information System" or GIS. Map interfaces can be custom developed for the content, or public services such as Google Maps can be leveraged. This enables a very high level of publishing flexibility.
